does the length of the clip affect your decision to watch it?
e.g. "hey that could be interestin- aw man it's 10 mins long i'll just watch something else"

@gonzalovera9343

The only way it affects me, is whether i watch/listen to it right away, or later in the day

@ChristianStout

If the subject looks interesting, the length will only determine when I watch it.

I like 10 minute clips, but only if they dont have annoying memes/sfx every second. A good long clip is nice to listen to in the shower or while cooking a quick meal.

I think it depends more how the content is structured for me. If the content is interesting and sticks to what was in the title and thumbnail, I don’t mind watching longer videos! I think the videos on your channel are a good example of how to have longer clips (10m or more) while still being engaging and entertaining

The longer the better. Keeps me awake while I work

@jako-tako-q9d

for me personally, it's the opposite. If a clip is 10-20 mins long, I'm more inclined to watch it, but that's a personal preference

@ZerkerTF

Only when its longer than 20 mins in my case but usually ends up on "I'll watch it tomorrow"

@telefrag.

Depends on what I'm up to. If I'm chilling on a couch with a phone, I don't care. If I'm doing dishes, for example, I'm more inclined to put on a longer video just so it doesn't stop in the middle of what I'm doing.

@SolaRCh.

It does affect me. The longer it is the more I want to watch it 💀

@Shiptoast0

It varies anything under 2 minutes is "too short to be good" and over 20 minutes it's "dishwashing content'

@lth_lch

I do prefer longer clips, but it doesn't really have any bearing on whether or not I click on the video.

Sometimes you're in the mood for one thing, sometimes another, but overall it balances out to a "no" for me

@gokutricolor1914

Yes, but it depends a lot of my mood at the moment. Sometimes I will put it in watch later, but then I add so much stuff there that I often forget about a lot of videos

People say it doesn’t but it does, sometimes people want long clips, sometimes people want bite sized ones.

@deathpigeon2

it does effect the decision to watch, but not always such that a longer clip makes me less likely to watch it. if i want to watch something while i eata i might select a longer clip over a shorter one or, if the subject of the clip is interesting, but it's really short, it might feel disappointing in addition to sometimes a clip looks like it might be too long.

@taylan5579

What bothers me most is when the longer than 4 minutes clip starts with an unrelated topic from title

@otakueve117

I like watching long clips when I play some video games or doing diamond painting. Helps me focus better and not have to find new videos every 3 minutes

@acidtreat101

10-11 mins is about as long as I will watch.

@razz444

I usually save most clips in a listen later playlist, so it doesn't really matter

@LwL_

only if I have some reason I can't watch something long right now. But then I'll check it out some other time.
