Easy Composites Ltd

It's been a little while since our last tutorial but we've been hard at work and have some great content coming soon. In a poll we ran late last year asking viewers what content they'd like to see more of, CAD for composites was the clear winner, so our next video, and at least one more this year, will focus on this subject. Watch this space : )

Unironically what a great marketing strategy. I go only to their website when I need anything carbon, because I'm sure in their competence. And they are helping the community a great deal! Awesome!

Keep producing such high quality content! As a hobbyist tinkering with composites here and there, your videos have been extremely insightful!

So exciting! I’ve started learning and would love to get into more specifics of CAD for composites!

@Ckcdillpickle

We needs more companies who put out great education for free, lots of info taught here that would otherwise cost money or searching on old forums

Nice! I will send it to the guy who ask me to produce a mould of a very long and thin 3D model that he want to be made in fiberglass 😂 P.s. I hope carbon fiber to metal bond is on the to-do list, I just purchased your VuduGlu for some experiments

You guys should partner with HP Academy and offer Carbon Fiber production classes. Would love to see how you guys create larger molds and even possibly see if CAD and CAM can streamline production of carbon fiber parts. Covering the basics would be amazing as well.

Thank you for making the videos! You guys are awesome, it's crazy you've been producing high-quality instructional videos for over a damn decade I imagine this would be pretty exhausting to make the videos, edit the videos, and even getting ideas for new videos. I'm glad you guys choose to share your wealth of information!!

@GameOvrMan

Yes that's great! Would you also explain how you created a break lever mold? How it split in three?

i recently found that unionfab can print up to 2000mm long parts using SLA that would be a pretty cool technique to use for wing molds printing solid would be pretty expensive, but if you use 2-3mm wall thickness it's just 50-100 $ per mold half for half a wing if you leave the back open it can be filled with sand/epoxy mix and the SLA printing technology would produce a great surface finish with sharp corners, much better that anything FDM can achieve what do you think? is this a viable method for creating cheap wing molds?
