Monde's Threads

Y'all need to stop with this foolishness.
The scamming sites are not enough for you, you move to demanding AI inspired dresses become reality..

Don't bring this to me. It's an immediate NO!!!!!

@aruvius

even if this dress was real, it would easily cost thousands of dollars. can’t help but guess she got what she paid for.

@evilempryss

A cosplayer could make this with craft store spandex, EVA foam, and glitter and it would ROCK! 😂

Fast fashion has really rotted people's brain into thinking they're gonna get a quality high fashion designer dress for 100 bucks. Also why haven't we learned to not put our cc's into random websites with zero background check???

Unfortunately, many people are unable to see the signs of an AI generated image. Others have decided to use AI for, to be charitable, mischievous reasons. And others still have much more sinister reasons for using AI. I applaud you for setting a very clear boundary on AI.

@M.KathleenDougharty

I’m beyond baffled at how someone would believe that they would get a dress like the one in the first pic for less than several thousand dollars if not more. I’m just shaking my head in disbelief.

That's killing two birds with one stone.

As a wildlife biologist, I can confirm, this dress is wild

@AmyL._orcgirl

If she wanted that dress, she needs to find a cosplay seamstress and pay them a LOT of money for them to make it for her.

One born every minute....is a phrase that might be forgotten but will never be untrue.

Honestly, the rip off has much more detail than I would have expected. Kind of shocked by that.

What in the H5N1 couture?

@AuthenticWe

It’ll take 100-150 hours of solid work to make this dress from scratch, why would anyone think that it could be on sale? And you’re right it’s AI inspired but it can be made, (though heavy)

@sasskvetch8617

It hurts to imagine what she got. In this modern world we need to tell our friends, sisters, daughters, moms - DON'T BE BELIEVIN This is SFX movie costume designer level.

AI, real, expensive or not, I’m still not going to buy a dress that makes my chest look like an owl’s head.

People also have to remember this A.I. body is slamming the dress as well. Often times we look at how a garment fits on the body we see it on and picture ourselves through that lens, but it is usually not the case.

@lulashepard3253

The original dress looks like something straight out of a beauty pageant or festival, and would cost thousands of dollars. Now, there are people who think that they can wear the same sort of thing to prom. “Unrealistic” doesn’t even begin to describe it!

@SharonRaeRyan

I totally understand her vision. I too would like fantastical couture dresses, but I realize just now much work goes into creating a garment. Even before Ai people need to recognize what a sculptural couture piece would cost. You're not gonna get that for prom off Amazon.

People need to exercise discernment more, this is ridiculous
