Tonights October movie watch is Saturday The 14th from 1981. It has a handful of actors I remember from that time period. Ive seen many horror comedy movies. This one has a handful of moments. Its not bad. Its not great. Its just ok. In this 1981 horror-comedy directed by Howard R. Cohen, a family inherits a spooky old house, only to discover that it comes with a curse and a host of supernatural creatures. The film stars Richard Benjamin and Paula Prentiss, who bring a comedic touch to the eerie happenings. While it didn’t win any awards, it has garnered a cult following for its campy humor and playful take on the horror genre. I wont go into this movie too much. Go into it expecting some "drum riff" moments. A few gags. Some bad practical FX creatures from bats to rats lol..There is something to be had here if you just stick it out and like some okish comedy...ENJOY!
