Good pay for the competitors. It motivates them to make the best stuff possible, in turn making the experience better for the audience.

I believe paid flights, paid hotel stay and a decent amount of prize money for a average or even above average organisation is very hard to organize, especially when they'll be paying for 16-32 competitors travel and stay along with a prize pool. not to mention the cost of organizing, adversiting, getting sponsers and renting a entire event venue. as a person who's tried organizing events himself, it's extremely hard to start all of this from scratch and to pull it off flawlessly is nearly a impossible job. viewing the event from the audiences perspective is easy but do view it from the organizers perspective too and give them credit for all their efforts as the possibility of 0 flaws is inevitable. Now that's said, we've seen events provide paid stay and prize pool and i believe the best next step for big organizations like GBB, vokaktotal, Florida beatbox battle can be to pay the artists a certain % of the video earnings which they are performing in and paying their flights.
