The very reason I did not become an architect was knowing beforehand the type of client that hires an architect, is a customer I don’t want to work for. I design build for myself and sell them when I want a new challenge. I’ve made a very good living doing this. The problem with all business is the client. Learn that, and you will be 100 percent happy. It’s that easy. Never waste time on other people. No project is worth doing if it’s just a job.

I am an independent acoustic consultant - would this course apply to me as well or is it architect specific?

The last client I got spent a week complaining about me charging him an underpriced quote I offered for an as-built job. Then, we spent more than a month trying to receive the underpriced payment because he was playing the long game. This client taught me what kind of client to avoid from now on, and the whole situation urged me to improve myself to attract better clients.

Honest question: I have a small video production company. I’ve been following you for a while and the value proposition of the course resonated with me. Is it worth it for me as a video director and entrepreneur?
