His times were peaceful and his administration did an excellent job. No wars, plagues, catastrophes or inflation. He was a really lucky emperor and died from natural causes and knew that his excellent successor Marcus Aurelius would take it from here. He even tried to make him his sole successor without Lucius Verus. I think that he deserves respect.

For a guy with a career lasting as long as Augustus there’s not a lot of media devoted to him except the film Androcles and the Lion I guess when your a good emperor historians and Hollywood don’t care about u now Nero or Caligula, RIP first citizen
