Benny and Rob practically helped raise me without ever having met me or known of my existence. I started watching their videos at the start of my 8th grade year and they helped keep me calm and steady when there were no friends to turn to and no adults that I felt comfortable opening up to. There were times where even my education was carried by them as the only way to get myself to focus on any of my schoolwork was to have one of their voices in my ear telling me how badass the Worldbreaker Hulk was. Fast forward a decade later and I’ve got my bachelor’s in Construction Engineering Tech. and wouldn’t have been able to do it without their channels. I’m so thankful to be able to say that I got to experience so much of Benny’s passion and excitement for his work and I will forever miss that feeling of seeing a new video drop and hearing his voice introduce me to the comic of the day. I’m extremely proud of all of the work you’ve all accomplished in the continuation of his legacy and I love all of the new content that you’ve been able to make. I’ll be a full time supporter of everything you all continue to do til the end. And while I never got to meet Benny, I know that somewhere out there he is your proudest and most passionate fan of all. RIP Benny 💚

Benny was a huge part of me growing up and helped me get through a horrible environment and so many tough times with his videos alone. He is and will always be missed. RIP Benny.

I still rewatch his Robbie Reyes videos yearly, it’s a Christmas tradition to start with it and end on Robbie Vs Krampus, like Benny intended, he was truly a legend, and a hero among heros, as I said last year, Excelsior, you amazing freaking man

I’ve got a playlist of comic videos I listen to whenever I’m getting work done or even if I can’t get to sleep at night. Benny’s voice was better than a warm glass of milk, and his enthusiasm was always infectious whenever he was retelling a story. We all miss you like hell, you brilliant legend.

Your husband means a lot to anyone that’s even watched a single video by you. A few years ago I had a buddy asking me about comics and midway through the conversation we both admitted we just watch these YouTube videos instead of reading them, which some may hate, but you made having access to these stories free and very entertaining. Thank you a million times❤️

I’ve been a longtime supporter of this channel. I remember exactly where I was when I heard about his passing. Listening to his videos before bed, during long shifts at work, or in any free time I had was something I always looked forward to. Ben, I want you to know that your community will ALWAYS love you. Rest in peace, Comicstorian.

Comicstorian Full Story
Today, June 8th, marks the one-year anniversary of my husband's death and I can hardly form the right words to describe just how much I miss him every single day.
He was my best friend, looking out for me and always making me laugh, whether it was intentional or not. He was my confidant, sharing all of our insecurities and reassuring each other without hesitation. He was my teacher, showing me all of the things I know now and sharing all the things in life that made him happy. He was my motivator, my cheerleader, my biggest source of comfort, and my rock. He was, quite literally, everything to me, and not a day goes by that I don't wish I could tell him that again just to hear him stubbornly wave it off as just what you do when you love someone.
Though we are apart, I just want to believe he can still see me. That he's happy and knows that, while it hurts being without him, I've done everything I can to keep his memory alive. Not just on his channels, but in what he's taught me and how I choose to live my life without him.
He was the embodiment of excitement with his passion for comics and life and that excitement poured into everything he did, impacting the lives of everyone around him. I'm eternally grateful to everyone for helping me and the team carry on his legacy in his memory. It's in all our hearts and minds that he lives on and even without him here, it's in sharing our passions and kindness with each other that his presence still continues to grow.
Wherever you are, Ben, I just want you to know how loved you are and always will be.
-Nathalie
