She thought she owned the internet, so when people didn't jump on board with her disgusting, public shaming of a man she has already completely destroyed and humiliated, someone warned her she was losing clout. Nothing she will ever do can have an ounce of genuine humility or strong character, because she's a true narcissist. The pay off wasn't as big as she expected, so she is doing damage control, because all she knows is how to worry about the way things affect her directly. A sincere apology would have been personal- this has an air of annoyance and "I'll do it, but i don't like!" Like any child would feel. She has no concept of what humility, compassion and being genuine look like, let alone how they feel. You can't fake those things, but leave it to her to try to manipulate and gas light everyone into thinking she does.
