Hey guys! I’m buried in finals right now, so I haven’t had much time to work on anything YouTube related. I’m hoping to start working on the next video sooner or later, but in the meantime, I wanted to share something I never really show here, my college work! A few of my classes had us experiment with different art styles, so here are three of them:
A: We had to draw an OC in our own style, so I chose my little guy and pushed his design a bit further. Honestly, I really love how he turned out! I even gave him little bunny slippers, isn’t that just swell?
B: We were told to pick any character from any era of animation, so I went with a Hanna-Barbera-inspired one because the style looked fun. He came out a little goofy, but honestly, I think that adds to the charm lol.
C: This assignment was an animation where we couldn’t reuse any assets, everything had to be redrawn frame by frame. Using my stick-figure model felt like cheating, so I made a more human version instead. I don’t mind how it came out, even though it’s not colored since that wasn’t required lol.
I’m genuinely thinking about using option A as my new character design, but knowing the internet, I feel like a big change like that might rub some people the wrong way. My character has evolved so much since I first started this channel, so I’m really curious to hear what you guys think of these different versions of him. That’s it for now, thanks guys!
