John's drum was as simple as Ringo's 4 piece and Jim was almost always caught closing eyes when singing.

I would’ve loved to see the doors in their early days. I can picture a small dark intimate venue and just surrendering to the music.

The first moments where " the Doors" began their psychedelic rock adventure,whitch shaped them into the biggest and most important rock band in the USA and in the World in the 60sand 70s...And Jim Morrison one of the singers and the poet, the most important frontmen and Is an icon of psychedelic rock on planet Earth.... 📸: Photographer Spotlight: Nettie Peña
Before The Doors became icons, Nettie Peña was there with her camera. A UCLA classmate, she photographed the band during their early days at the London Fog, capturing Morrison, Manzarek, Krieger, and Densmore before fame took hold.
Her images remain some of the only visual records of those formative nights. Peña even made reel-to-reel recordings of the shows, one of which was released as LIVE AT THE LONDON FOG - the second reel has yet to be found.
