This weekend is a battle of monsters! Would you rather us review and riff on Guillermo del Toro's FRANKENSTEIN or Dan Trachtenberg’s PREDATOR: BADLANDS?

you should review Proteus (1995) about a shapeshifting monster on an abandoned oil rig that gets addicted to heroin

@wstine79

Both sound great, but I'd start with Frankenstein.

@AevasHouse

Both! I think you should do Frankenstein first cause thats readily available for everyone to watch now and give the weekend for more people to have been able to see the new predator movie.

I say go for Guillermo del Toro's Frankenstein. I'm curious to see it, but I don't know if I would enjoy it or not.

I'm definitely seeing Frankenstein either way, so I guess I'd prefer the Predator Badlands review just to see if it's worth a look.

I saw Del Toro’s Frankenstein last night & it’s another solid outing from the man with excellent visuals, great acting from Oscar Isaac and Jacob Elordi (honorable mentions to Charles Dance and David Bradley in contrasting fatherly roles) & a beautiful score by Alexandre Desplat. I saw a bit of Predator’s intro and honestly it was pretty cool; eventually I’ll check it out as I’ve heard good reviews

After too many Alien disappointments, with Badlands I’m gonna sit this out for now.
