Do you think God of War Ragnarok will be the Game of the Year 2022?

Honestly I would be happy if either God of war ragnarok OR Elden ring wins game of the year. If none of them do, there's some explaining that needs to be done

Elfin ring was just pure amazing but god of war Ragnarok just has such a gripping story with smiles, laughs and tears (no pun intended) I think god of war will win it but ending ring definitely has a chance

I feel like the only competition ragnarok has for being game of the year is elden ring

Either Ragnarok or Elden Ring I have no problem with either. I have a bit more of a God of War bias so I'll vote for Ragnarok but Elden Ring is also pretty amazing.

I think in terms of character/plot, Gow takes it. However in terms of an insane world to explore and a unique experience, Elden Ring. Both are very valid contenders.

I’m undecided because while I absolutely love gowR Elden ring is also a big conetender and I love both of those games so much that I can’t put one over the other

I think people forgot how much of a movement Elden Ring created. It dominated every platform and the center of attention for months while being a completely new concept. You just can’t beat something that monumental.

That 5% were the aesir I’m largely still kinda stuck between them both but tbh i might say god of war but also i loved both the same amount so i can’t pick

Okay I think it’s safe to say that both Elden Ring and GOW are amazing games. There are some departments in both games that do it better than the other. For instance GOW has a better story, emotionally driven, satisfying ending. Elden ring has better gameplay mechanics in some cases way better re-playability. However with all this in hand I honestly think GOW could potentially take it home for just being more emotional and having a better story arc. Now if anyone is going to say that “Elden Ring has a story” I agree it does however you have to either play the game multiple times or watch videos to understand what is going on like other soul games. If you say that’s why Elden rings story is better, for you it’s probably better for you. But let’s remember that sometimes it’s better for the story to be simplistic and driven clearly. No hate towards the story of Elden Ring but generally think GOW took that department. Also the cast of GOW is amazing and y’all can’t lie. Like I said both games have great chances. I’m just gonna say whichever wins deserves it. But deep down I’m rooting for GOW cuz it’s the first game that I actually wanted to 100% on the hardest difficulty.

I do hope GoW wins since I personally like it better because of the story and characters, but I still believe Elden Ring will take it. More replayability, accessible to different platforms, and it was hyped for years. It makes sense for it to win. Both are fantastic games though so they're definitely worthy opponents.

My problem is it didn’t seem like there was a good enough reason to fight Asgard
