I have a reading comprehension disorder so keeping up with the chat in live streams is nearly impossible. I end up feeling like I'm eavesdropping on half of a conversation and missing the context.

My personal problem with the livestresms is when people are constantly looking at the chat instead of watching whatever video is playing. I rarely watch livestreams for this reason. Love love your videos though!!

Music Video programs introduced me to so much music I wouldn’t have experienced otherwise. Before MTV a weekly show came on late Friday night and it became my Friday night ritual. MTV grew my new love for music. I will always love them even though they are no longer easily accessible in a program these days. Now I’m in my late 60s enjoying seeing what people my children’s age and younger think of the music I grew up with and I can relive those days. The music of these days leaves me uninspired. Thank you for letting me sit in with your journey.

I watch both, when I can. Another option (think it's when you Premier a video) is that you can post your video and then watch it at the same time as your viewers and also include a live chat. So, you're sharing the watch page and hosting a live chat. I saw one where the YT-er was live watching the video with the viewers while responding to the chat. Viewers were answering his questions about the music in real time. I also saw another where the YT-er was not live but was responding with text in the chat itself. People chose if they wanted to join the chat or not and they were still able to watch the video. Just a thought.

Live streams can be fun, but I work all day and can't just drop everything to sit at my computer for hours. A video I can watch at my leisure

Video - I guess we all have our rituals for the day and a certain timeslot for them. Watching a video or two is much more manageable than a live stream.
