πŸ‘‰πŸ‘‰πŸ‘‰πŸ‘‰πŸ‘‰πŸ‘‰ +30 sec. I don’t care how many times I have to press it, that is the only button I use on the microw

@richb70

Never use anything other than the amount of time I want it on.

I do. But I have Panasonic inverter microwave so it actually adjusts the power level proportionally rather than just going on and off. Melting butter is super easy at power level three you can just let it go as long as you want. No explosions. I also like the popcorn and the potato auto cook setting, they both seem to work perfectly every time.

Yes. Took the time to read the manual and make use of the stepped programming to thaw and then bake many foods. Use the reduced power settings to liquify butter. It's really wonderful how well even an inexpensive unit works when you take a few minutes to actually learn how to use it.

Nope, but one thing I DO use is the Clock. It’s not as hard as they say!

Heck no!

@Yourneighborhoodmacaroni

Nope, but to be honest the only reason I bought the one I have is so I wouldn't have to redo my cabinets

Yes, the power level. I never reheat on high. I’ll do 2-3 mins on 40, 50, or 60% power. Food is heated more evenly without any dried out bits. I also use oddball times so I don’t wear out the 1, 2 and/or 0 on the keypad.

No, I use defrost and full power and nothing else. Same with computers, I cannot use the funny stuff. I can look up things on Wikipedia, and I can do e-mail, but I can't even do links to add to the e-mail. I also can't undo things like opening a new window unexpectedly, or undoing a section of a paragraph that suddenly got moved to another part of the page. I can't put it back. I have to erase it and then retype it in the right place. I have to get my son, who has a degree in Computer science, cum laude, to help me. I was raised on slide rules, and I had to iron my clothes.

mw should have 2 buttons. 1 min and stop. Good old mw that had a dial instead were perfect.

It is a 1970s Litton. It has a (mechanical) timer; those are it's features. So yes.

Ours was installed in 1985 in the wall.Prior to that the wall oven was gas.Only had the new electric oven moved down several inches .That lasted until 2010. Bought a Samsung almost same size.,It died. I use it to heat up something.

9 + Start , or 99, or 999 is enough to heat everything through one or more cycles
