Oooouuuu when have black men/fathers ever been praised by the masses. I will wait………. Congrats to all the positive dads especially black dads we very rarely get a pat on the back not that it is needed and we keep doing our best. Salute

When do the women graduate from the program that teaches them to not make the dads fight to be in their children’s lives or to not need to be taken to court so the dad can have access to his children???

The school my son goes to shows me first hand that fathers are involved in their children lives more then ever now. Just seeing who picking up and showing up to school functions shows me that much. I’m proud of you fellas keep up the great work and let continue to build and change this world for the good.

As a brotha myself with 2 adult daughters and a grandchild. And a man who survived the child support system in the past. Im all for this and support this all the way. The one problem with this is why would you need a "program" to be a better father? And this perpetuates even more of the stereotype to aim at black men as NOT being in their kids lives. There are many men of other races that should be in this "Program" to be better fathers and to be in their kids lives as well. This is good and bad at the same time. But stigmatizes that narrative of absent black fathers all over again.

I had no idea it was to the point we needed a school to teach grown men how to be father's. I'm black and not only am I a full time dad but ive been raising my 6 year old completely alone since 2 months. I refuse to believe other men need a full college course on how to be dads.

I agree with a lot of the comments, I just hope OUR men and women come back together. I am a BW and I have 4 daughters with my black husband and we teach them to go out and find a GOOD black man. That doesn’t mean he HAS to have a degree, that doesn’t mean he NEEDS to make six figures, black love means we see the value and beauty in each other to make something happen together. I hope our black men come back to US (the BW that deserve one of yall because not all do) and KNOW that we see them striving which yall always have been!! BLACK MEN we see you and WE need you!!!!

A program that helps black Men on their journey to fatherhood!!! I always say that Most Black Men are learning how to be a father on the fly especially because some of our Fathers was absent. I just want to take out the time to salute all the Fathers in the world and tell you that you are needed.
