I did my first set a few weeks ago and despite beat matching being on auto found A- choice of songs that fit well together in terms of feel B - matching the drops C - matching the harmonics D - choice of songs for crowd D was the most important. It was a small party and only 4 people were in to the tunes I was playing. And so I’m sure very handy but beat matching least of my worries.

But please tell me why the crowd should really care? We DJs sometimes tend to make it all about us but the bitter truth is they don't come to an event/gig/club to check ur skills they come just to enjoy.

They don't care the industry have changed forever what they will hear is experience versus someone just starting out remember you are in charge when behind the decks how you do is up to you don't bystanders tell you what to do. It's your time to shine

They don’t care how you do it, as long as you do it. 😂 it’s all about the end result with the peeps as they are focused on having a good time and not if we have sync on or off.

Hey DJ Carlo, can I just say that since I got my FLX4 controller about 2 years ago I have had so much fun and the videos which I have learnt the most of on YouTube have been yours 100%. You're videos are always easy to understand and you explain everything in terms that newbies like me can grasp and use in our mixes. You're tutorials are very much appreciated by me Sir ❤

Auto beat match for the win tbh as long as the audience is having fun that’s key 🔑

Been mixing on 1210's for 20+ years, got nothing to prove at this point, so I use sync for the speed of putting mashups/ double drops together. Always adjust tho if ya got a track with flabby kicks, they gotta be tight.
