i’ve been seeing glass blocks being incorporated super creatively in midcentury modern renovations/styling recently and i Love it. especially as a plant person, anything that diffuses more light is my best friend

I love the glass blocks BUT I feel, with that area already having a lot going on with all the doors leading off it, I personally would have kept the wall with just the paneling and allowed the laundry door to be the star. Then used the glass blocks in a different space where they could be the main attraction. Anyhoo, your home is gorgeous anyway so you keep doing you ☆☆☆

They are still very common in southern Arizona- lots of new builds have them. I personally don’t love them but I can see the appeal.

My mom lives in a MCM apartment that have a glass wall and I always loved it! Now I’m looking into buying a house I wish to put on a feature glass wall to bring this element of my childhood into my new space
