Update: (Spoilers for Secret of the Mimic) For my FNaF AU Revamped, I've decided to include the bad ending of SotM, aka the ending where Arnold got the data diver and heads into his van and leaves, but finds out that dispatch wasn't with him the whole time throughout, and was actually played by the Mimic, the Mimic than hitched a ride in his van and attacked him, preventing him from escaping. I made this decision after some debate on whether to include the parachute/true ending or not, since it's considered by fans to be the canonical one. But compared to the established lore I've got for the AU so far, I don't feel like it'll fit the narrative of my story, which means with the bad ending, there's no explicit implications of FE/William stealing from Edwin, F10-N4 is nowhere mentioned (which means M1 won't exist in my world), and Edwin's supposed 'death' via injuries from an explosion is nowhere mentioned. This means the Mimic we know is the only Mimic who would most likely just be a technical part of the Murray family, and won't replicate Fiona, who would still die in the Fall Fest, and it would just be like how the pizzaplex Mimic story would play out, with David's death via car accident, and Edwin destroying the Mimic from grief, and it'll replicate his anger and violent persona.
