A freedom fighter that pays for tutorials? Surely you're mistaken

$14 poorly spent but I did it to support Jeff. He did inspire me a lot with his better, older content. So, thanks Jeff.

Fellas it's 2024 do we really need to buy a course to learn basic software engineering stuff?

Would be nice to see some real courses at some point that aren't made up of videos that are public already and that last more than 2 minutes diving deeper into themes. I often purchase subs, courses and stuff and I must say the money spent on the fireship pro tier were completely a waste

Guys, if I ever get the time, I'll make a course for free 😁

For learning/proof of concept builds I favor the more consistently free and equivalent offerings from GCP for VM/Compute.

I actually learnt Linux and stuff first, deploying my projects to a local server in my parents' apartment and self hosting everything down to stuff like SMTP servers, and then when I tried various cloud technologies, it felt so cool and convenient every time, removing one pain point from the deployment process at a time

Very cool. Unfortunately, I can learn this all for free online and already have. LFS is a phenomenal way to do it.

“Freedom Fighter”? I like the sound of that. I run my own kubernetes cluster at home and deploy all my apps there. I only pay for my internet subscription and bought my own domain and that’s it. No Bill Shocks ever again

Fire, I know u speed run thru vids to make $, but since you're already rich. We'd rather u shift into Oppenheimer mode and actually teach us via free 4 hour courses + live discord of 32 new learner sessions of building live projects together while the rest follow along and build/learn. That would be cool since we all love your humor and approach anyway.

If it's self-hosted, why are the logos for proprietary cloud companies there?
