Feels like this is totally for me. I'm dealing with my daughter,41, back in active addiction, yet again. Tough love is the hardest thing I've ever endured, truly. Yes but also no. You can’t spend so much effort trying to help others that it harms yourself, especially if they aren’t willing/ready to change. But if it wasn’t for my closest friends persistence, I wouldn’t have broken up with my abusive boyfriend at that time. I probably would have gotten more hurt
