Had to go with PH, it was my first Zelda game and one of my first story-driven video games. I know a lot of people have issues with the temple of the ocean king but as a kid I found it very cool and interesting to try and redo the same levels as fast as I could with the new items at my disposal. Also I think Oshus is underrated as a character, just his theme gives me goosebumps. And don't even get me started on Linebeck. But obviously this is my very biased view of this game and I concede that ST might be a better game objectively.

The DS Zelda games are quite contentious. And they can be a really big pain in certain areas. But I still love a ton of the ideas that went into it, and it gives the Wind Waker world a lot of love. I think Spirit Tracks is better. I think they had a much better idea of what they were doing for that game. Not to say Phantom Hourglass didn’t, but I just think Spirit Tracks was an overall improvement. Even though I always find myself missing Linebeck.

I like both but like Spirit Tracks does so many things right. It has the best version of Princess Zelda. Not even a major Zelink person (only shipping three of them) but it was the first game to REALLY push the ship and it still peaked there. Byrne. Just Byrne. The game has a great soundtrack and fun puzzles. Personally I liked the train and pan flute (as someone in band it was easy for me to do, I didn't even find it to be so strict like people said. The only time I struggled was playing in the car bc the mic picked up all the background noise) Idk I think it's a pretty solid game that's unfortunately underrated. PH does have Linebeck tho and he is the character of all time.

These two get hate for no reason (there is honestly some good acceptable reason…) These are honestly in my top 5 Zelda games spirit tracks is anyway. If I could have one game remade it would be spirit tracks

Spirit tracks had the best Zelda, had the best companion and some great music. If it had the same gameplay style as a link to the past it would be beloved

I know I'm not the first person to say this, but the two games are like two sides of the same coin. Where one game lacks, the other one shines and vice versa. An example being world exploration in PH compared to being on rails in ST, and tower of spirits being way less tedious than the temple of the ocean king

Phantom Hourglass, because it's not (literally and figuratively) on rails. I was disappointed to hear that Spirit Tracks was not about tracking spirit animals in the forest!

I preferred Hourglass, but it came out first and I spent a lot of my adolescence playing it. Whereas spirit tracks I could never sink a lot of time into as I was busy with life by the time I got it. Anyway, does anyone know a good place to sell a Spirit Tracks game guide? I think it's a collectors edition? It has the green hardcover with the gold edges on the pages. I have been thinking about selling it but I didn't want to take it GameStop or wherever. Anyway thanks for reading and any tips would be appreciated.
