Two things. 1. I'd like to know what his historic and current live set up was/is. Basically, what ends up going to the sound guy? Like I know exactly how I want to sound so the sound guy gets a cable from an Audix i5 that I've placed on my cab. What does Jerry do? Is he using a modeller for convenience these days? Or still plonking a mic on a cab. 2. How much does he know about Jerry's process for writing lead licks? A lot of his lead licks aren't actually that comfortable/natural feeling to play, they seem like sounds in his head that he was chasing as opposed to things that just fell of his fingers. 3. (bonus question). Does he notice a change in tone of the bridge pickup in a single pickup guitar to a bridge pickup in a 2 or more pickup guitar? Or is the single pickup thing just 'cos he finds neck pickups pointless? I have a the two-pickup LP Special, never use the shitty neck pickup - wish it was a Jr. It also limits options so you just get on with it and stop faffing.
