Our Nostalgic Memories

We used to go for Sunday drives--sometimes just driving around the neighborhood. Other times, we'd head out of town and enjoy the countryside, maybe stop for a picnic lunch.

Moms station wagon with rear facing bench seating. No phone, just books, games, and the sweet sounds of the radio when it was good.

Cars back then were so comfy too. I was born 1969, so thru the 70s we had a 65 Chevy caprice and a 69 Chevy station wagon. 😂. We traded the 65 for a 78 Malibu. Ugliest car ever made in my opinion. Dad said he hated driving, always felt you were sitting in a hole. 2 hours and he had to get out. By the time I got my license we had a 83 Mercury, that was a nice car, but could a used the V8 instead of the straight 6. But might have got in more trouble with more go😂
