Please don't use click bait titles Dawn ☹️ Just some advice from a long time viewer. I'm just sharing because I care about your reputation here on you tube ❤️ It weakens the trust you have built up in so many of us over the years, and it doesnt feel in keeping with your character. You're better than click bait. You're well respected and people will click on your videos because they want to hear what you say. X

I’m confused. You wouldn’t homeschool again but you’re speaking at a homeschooling conference?

Dawn, as a very long time follower and a TYHB member, I feel like we are really really similar. I want to send hugs and support in case these comments are upsetting you, and just know that the majority of us are not going to judge you for your one off-brand video title and stomp off. That’s not what friends do. The You Tube algorithm is harsh and sometimes you have to do titles like this to be seen and grow. We get it. We may hate it, but we get it. I don’t homeschool (my kids are grown) and I never had any interest in it, so this video isn’t “for me”, but as you are someone who I know I’d be friends with in real life, you, Dawn the You Tube Friend, are for me. I just want to reassure you that a video title is just a video title and I know if you want to adjust it or never do a clickbait title again, you can make that decision yourself and everyone will get over it and move on. I love you and I hope you are having a great day and are sleeping well on your Helix mattress and not worrying too much about one very small decision. 🥰

Dawn comes across as wholesome but she’s also shrewd and is maximizing her income in as many ways as possible.

Click bait! The reality of social media - not real & all about the money.

Great for the group. You will be amazing. This teacher homeschooled her son until HS. He’s off in the world & very happy plus successful. Homeschoolers ROCK ✌️🇺

Aww sorry to hear that:(. I love Dawn’s channel but not taking time to watch this video. Ive been homeschooling for a long time, graduated my 2 oldest children over last few years & have 4 more children left to homeschool. Just married off our oldest. God is good! Homeschooling for me has been about raising children of integrity, good character that love Jesus!! Priceless❤️

I also don't understand why the title. It's upsetting if it's not what the video is about.

Dawn, I love your channel and Tom's and your family values. I am a little disappointed to hear you talk so negatively about homeschooling. Your children will see this and may think they weren't worth your time. I am positive you don't mean it that way, but why take the chance?

Take the feedback as a GOOD thing. We are here because of your heart and the way you have the ability to speak the Truth. We get enough gaslights from media and society so the feedback is noting the temperature of our times and our collective “small t” trauma from it as a nation. Honesty is ALWAYS the best policy and your “brand” should always be value aligned. Other marketers attempt this and fail at Truth Love and Honesty in attempt to act like they care about more than the bottom line & by now most of us don’t buy into it. Your brand is YOU and we trust you. Hold it tenderly. This just feels like an attempt to try something. It didn’t fit…put it in a burn barrel and light it up. lol. Don’t let it cloud your day.

Wait . . . You're still homeschooling? What's the point of this post? To try to get people not interested in homeschooling to change their minds?

It’s not clickbait. It makes a point. Some parents are experiencing a shift away from the compulsory schooling social construct paradigm (whether home or public or private).
