Trivia: Does Crobat's "Critical Bite" effect work on "Robo-Substitute"?

Crobat's attack says to take two MORE prize cards. You can't take two more prize cards from something that isn't worth any prize cards to begin with. At least, that's my translation of the situation

I'd say you take 0 prizes, since robo substitute doesn't say that you take 0, but rather that you can't take any, which probably takes precedence over crobat

If Crobat said “… take two prize cards in addition to any prize card(s) the target yields,” or something along those lines, then it would bypass Robo-Sub. As is, you can’t take more from nothing.

Crobats attack even says "opponent Pokémon". Robosub is an item card with 30HP, not a pokemkn

nah. I'm guessing is kind of like the same effect ADP has and I've knocked out a lot of dolls under Altered Creation and I never took any prizes for any dolls.

The item card gives 0 prizes, but Crobat attack effect takes 2 more prizes. I think Crobat takes these 2 prizes, 0+2= 2.

Take 2 more is more of an allowence than an instruction, despite the phrasing, cause a player naturaly wants it. And that has lower priority

@yifun6187

You take no prizes as robosubstitute is not a Pokémon, and crobat only triggers if you knock out a Pokémon, not an item card.
