My privilege and personal experience completely overshadowed the objective truth that Greek life is incredibly toxic. Sororities have a long history of racism, homophobia, fatphobia, and a dangerous overall culture. I’m very sorry about how little I spoke on these issues, how dismissive I was, and how much I’ve let you all down.
And you all are right, today I would not have the same Greek life experience.
Sororities and fraternities are cultish, they are highly judgmental, and being rejected from them hurts *for whatever reason*. I am deeply sorry for my continuous bad takes on this weeks episode. In the future, I will be better.
