What I think is missing is the timbre that old samples and machines added to the mix. The newer beats are still good there's just something missing because they are too cleaned up by the process. Like the sound of the needle on wax and the crackle and hum that made things sound raw and grimy and real.

Rza is too far gone. He lost his love for music. Meanwhile Havoc from Mobb Deep putting out dope music still.

That pic feels like stepping into the lost Wu temple of sound, you can almost hear those grimy RZA beats echoing through the walls, that raw unpredictable energy only Wu had. RZAβs sound was chaos and genius mixed - ancient and futuristic at once.
But why, with so many fans starving for that sound, he doesnβt make beats like that anymore? The world still needs that sound - RZA, listen to us! βͺ@rza1235β¬ Right people? We need that boom bap, not these electric modern beats with no soul. Get back to the roots, bring back them dusty samples - like you did for six straight albums, pure Wu magic! π₯π½
