Grow up the Philly sound 1971 I was 17 years old and heard the sounds of soul in a different way. Early club hits before the commercial pop Disco came in the 1977 and took it to another place. Wasnβt the same for me Pop music for me had never been real music just money making but I am to had experience the Philly sound, thank you boys π₯

Nothing like Gamble and Huff. Made a top ranking playlist of just their music for when I smoke my cigars. Every song brings me back to the backseat of my parentβs car when we would drive to Philly from NJ or to Jersey City every weekend growing up .

π₯ great sound early days of the 70s , 1971 at 17 years old brought me to a place of experience of a different sound and never being caught up in the Pop scene . From the hooks , lyrics and beats you get hooked in and it becomes your favorite. Many years of memories and sharing with others that felt the same
