Hans Rosenberg

I'm a little bit bogged down with my next video, but I'll get there.... in the end :-D

I had to circumnavigate some measurement issues (I just redid the measurements for the third time!!!) and improve the explanations so you'll guys hopefully get the most out of it .

I also had the to do TAX administration... Oh the joys of having a company of your own :-D.

But I'm getting there! Hopefully this can go live next week and you guys will enjoy it.

Best regards and happy designing,

Hans

I love your videos, and would like to take your course, but only as a curiosity. I have a CompE degree and love your explanations. I work in software and only dabble in a minor way in electronics. The course looks amazing and great value for the price, but I can't really justify for myself.

Your videos are a happy discovery for me, and I wonder if you can make a video or four to address some specific claims. There is an audio company, DNM, out of the UK who make several products I find very interesting, but I haven't the resources to verify their claims. Two of them are not overly expensive, so I'm hoping you can take a look for us. The first is a four terminal power supply cap, which they say has much better characteristics than a typical cap, but needs a slightly different layout. The second is a two terminal supply cap that has slits in the foil they claim reduce eddy current distortion. The third is a high frequency terminator sitting between the amplifier and the loudspeaker, which they say improves how the amplifier feedback operates at out-of-band frequencies. The fourth is a PCB layout where they make mirror-image traces on two PCBs and space them parallel to each other to supposedly make something closer to a textbook transmission line for signals, with only air as a dielectric, rather than the PCB material itself. These things seem to make sense superficially, but having someone with the knowledge and equipment to verify or disprove would be so much better than my guessing. Thanks.
