In response to the recent UPS Flight 2976 crash, FedEx has ordered a grounding of its MD-11 fleet. This means we won’t be seeing this classic trijet aircraft taking off or landing for the time being.
Currently, in Taiwan, there is a daily FedEx 6126/6127 round-trip flight between Seoul and Taipei Taoyuan (except Sundays) operated by the MD-11.
Today’s Flight 6126, operated by N613FE, has already arrived at Taipei Taoyuan Airport. However, the return flight 6127 has been canceled, meaning this aircraft will likely remain parked at Taoyuan for quite some time.
