For those of you who don’t follow us on Instagram. Ivy had a stroke last night. It was very scary but I happened to be at work with ivy when it happened. The vets and techs immediately responded to ivys condition and we were able to get it under control. She’s resting comfortably tonight and is on a few different meds. I am not sure what caused it at this time but I do have my suspicions. This morning I brought her back to the hospital to make sure we was recovering. Her blood work came back normal and she checked out fine. She was at the hospital that day to have a teeth cleaning which was not done because we found out she needs to have a tooth removed and we were scheduling her surgery for this Friday. After her episode we are postponing the surgery for a few weeks. As of right now we are in the clear and I could not be more grateful for the amazing staff at my job ♥️
