Amen! With the highlighting of the abuses (sexual, emotional, spiritual) in the Body of Christ comes the revelation of the truth of who the Lord Jesus Christ really is. He does love us and wants the best for us. He will not take advantage of our weaknesses but desires that we overcome them which we can only do if we focus on Him and reach out to Him to help us. My favorite verse in Jeremiah 29:11 says He came to prosper us and not to harm us but has plans to give us hope and a future.

Bless you Wanda 🙏. I was shown this word 'reformation' in 2022 but did not understand it prior to 2022. To see this post is amazing! To God be all the glory! Thank you for sharing

“Reform” = “to change into an improved form or condition; to improve by removal of faults or abuses; to abandon evil ways.”
There is a larger context that is happening among all these exposures in the Church. As much as we need to root out sin and immorality, there is a reformation taking place. A reformation of ideologies, doctrines of men, and faith practices that are being examined, “deconstructed,” and upgraded to a higher standard. This is actually a good thing.
I’ve spoken with several of those on the frontlines of this discussion and they have been compelled by something much bigger than simply “exposure.” They have a passion to see the purity of the gospel, biblical integrity, and personal holiness take precedence over objective experiences and power plays.
I do not delight in anyone’s downfall. Nor do I look for sin in order to expose it. My desire is to love the Lord above all else, follow His leading, and be faithful to the call. What happens, however, is that when one decides to go after the real thing, the counterfeits become much more apparent. That which pretends to be righteous but is not, becomes clear.
Thus, the best way to move forward is to keep our eyes fixed on Him. When we fear Him more than men and determine to honor His Word regardless of the cost, we can trust where He is taking us.
“So that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes. Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into Him who is the head, into Christ.” (Ephesians 4:14-15 ESV)
