Well, it’s been a long journey. In late March 2023, my littlest brother, Cam Alexander Murray, came home one day with a cough, runny nose and headaches. That lasted for about two weeks, gradually getting worse as he got paler and paler. Eventually, he was so pale that you could tell something was up. Indeed, something was up… anemia, the lack of blood. There were two probable causes: A) not enough vegetables or B) leukemia, and very unfortunately, it was the latter of the options. This was the first time in my somewhat short life that I felt all hope was lost. Luckily, my Lord and savior Jesus cares for all his sheep, and Cam being one in the flock was given a great chance of survival. My hope had been restored by learning that one thing. That whole ordeal was more than two years ago. I was in 6th grade when that all happened, and I’m now an upcoming freshman. I remember the exact feeling of grief that flushed over me when that was announced to me, and I can’t even express enough how grateful I am for the massive turnaround in myself and in Cam. I would like to thank every single one of you who has the time to read this. You all are the real ones that were likely here from day 1. You have supported me and my family through the joys and the sorrows of this journey. Thank you all. And, NEXT YEAR’S OUR YEAR! GO IRISH AND YES CERS

Salutations and Regards, Mason Murray
