Wanted to attend this time around but I love that you’re doing this. The safety and wellbeing of others always takes priority. Can’t wait to be at wavecon 2026 online!

Honestly I'm glad y'all are actually taking this stuff seriously, I've seen far too many people downplay or straight up ignore the shit going on in your country right now. I've seen a shocking amount of ppl from my country be detained with zero probable cause when trying to enter the US and I have absolutely no intention to join them.

Actually great news for us U.K. Wave Riders, especially as I’m Autistic and can’t normally go to conventions. Thanks for thinking of all of us. I’ll definitely try to tune in.😀

This is actually very sweet and caring of you, even in the US there’s so many awful things happening and it’s honestly safer for certain people to stay home, as horrible as that is.

As much as this sucks, I’m happy you’ve decided to do this. These are scary times so it’s nice to know there are some legit safe communities around. More important than ever to take care of each other. Be safe and I look forward to whatever you’ve got planned ❤️

Very understandable decision with the country the way it is right now

Thankyou for taking this seriously, my friend is studying in Colombia this year and she flew to Florida on a connecting flight. She’s been held by the border patrol people for two days now because she criticised trump on Facebook a few months ago though we also suspect it’s because she trans. She’s had her phone confiscated and we don’t know what’s going on. It’s about time Americans start standing up to this fascist regime.

I love that this post both shows how awesome blind wave is and exposes the maga weirdos who constantly try to cause weird discourse about stuff the crew and the rest of their viewers agree on when it comes it comes to progressiveness and social awareness in media and politics.

I could never travel to where you guys are so this is a great opportunity for people who can never come in person. I gotta check this out! Thanks for doing this😁
