I’ve always loved writing poetry that reflects on the self, on growth, and on the journey of becoming more aware. It’s my way of exploring consciousness, of holding a mirror to the inner world, and sharing the beauty of evolving with others. Here’s a piece I wrote to honor that journey:
Awakening Within
In quiet corners of the mind, A spark ignites, gentle, kind. Each breath a teacher, every choice, A chance to hear the inner voice.
Through shadows past and fears embraced, We find the self we’ve long chased. Growth moves softly, like a stream, Shaping the soul, fulfilling the dream.
Consciousness, both flame and sea, Expands the heart, sets the mind free. In stillness, silence, patient gaze, We learn to navigate life’s maze.
Release what’s not, embrace what’s true, Each moment brings a self renewed. Step by step, through joy and pain, We awaken, rise, and rise again.
To live, to love, to simply be, Is the gift of self-awareness, finally free.
