One of the main reason I watch your channel is because of the humor. I see Burt as the dad joke king! You have a great channel with the humor making it unique.

I like the character personally. That being said, I can personally take a joke and ignore the ones I don’t like, but some folks can’t. I might would clean his jokes up a bit or have him make fewer appearances, I think that’d be a great middle ground to start at and see if that quells any complaints. But I’m a dude that looks to be about your age, so our gen x male sense of humor tends to be a bit darker and more immature than the younger audience’s lol.

I think they’re corny but funny. Some are really funny. The “ Shocker” 👍 I enjoy life and laughing. I would guess 95% of the guys doing videos are just mundane. I would hate to think that’s how all woodworkers are. It’s always nice to find someone who steps out of the box to be themselves. You’re authentic. I always watch a video from you. Others? Not so much. My mom always told me, be yourself. Good or bad. 🫣 you won’t like doing videos if you’re just being someone else. You have what others are looking for. An identity. Keep it. Btw. The tape is pretty funny too. I laugh every time.

This is a tough one for me. I really appreciate humor in my life! And, I believe you should do you. I had 4 brothers, joined the Navy and spent the last 20 yrs in a male dominated field. It’s pretty hard to offend me with locker room talk. Doesn’t make it cool for every female out there, so maybe a little less pool hall and a little more dad joke? Maybe a little fewer? If there are 10 tools, does there need to be 10 clips? Not sure, as I am not bothered by them 🤔

I enjoy Burt's humor but sometimes he goes a little over the top. If I'm watching your videos with my grandkids, which they love, some of his stuff is way too inappropriate

Some of the jokes are a bit much. You are definitely antagonizing your female audience. The humor is really unnecessary in the videos. If you want to do stand-up, start a second channel that’s just that and leave the silly nonsense out of your woodworking. Or keep it as it is and I’ll just stop subscribing. Your choice. I don’t want that to sound mean, that’s just how it is. It’s your channel, you are the boss!

I know that these parts of the videos can distract from the core of the videos, but I also think the material gets pretty dry without a little break here and there.
