Found your channel from resident evil I'm sure it was from a speedrun of Bawk. But your rebirth playthrough was very wholesome! I could tell you genuinely cared about the characters in FF7!

I am still watching, I think I'm up to the manor. Unfortunately, I don't have time to do live streams, so thank you for taking the time to upload to YouTube. Your playthrough is very unique as you are quite knowledgeable on the series. I grew up playing FF since the very start and absolutely love them. Oh and Oliver is the cutest! 😉

I loved so much about this game but there’s so much frustration that came with it. Mostly in regards to controls. Nearly every aspect of this game’s movement/controls frustrated me at some point whether it’s cloud randomly attacking an enemy a mile away after using an ability, Chocobos running Mach 10 into a wall when I mount them, climbing walls, mini games, etc I understand wanting to give people a challenge. You don’t want all of the mini games to be a cakewalk…but some of these were absurd. I 100% every zone each time I reached a new one (some you obviously had to backtrack to complete). By the time I completed Corel I was exhausted with the open world. Having to do 3-5 life wells, summon crystals, and protorelics in every zone felt like too much. (Especially the protorelics) With that said I thoroughly enjoyed Nibelheim’s quick open world area. Despite all of my frustrations I do love this game. I hope in the future Square can fix/adjust some of the control problems. Even if you have 0 context to the OG story or spinoff games there’s so many heartwarming moments. I’ve dumped 140+ hours into the game at this point and will likely play it again in the future.

I did notice in several occasions you missed dialogue in your playthrough. After scripted conversations there’s normally 2-3 lines of dialogue for each NPC. Nibelheim in particular has a lot of this. Cloud asks Aerith if she’s mad at him and she says she’s mad at the world in general. She’s mad she never had a friend like Tifa growing up among various other things and asks to be left alone.

I've been around a bit, but usually can't catch a livestream. Gonna try to tune in live soon! Found your channel through Remake, I think, and I've stuck around for FF16, and gone back and watched a lot of your RE playthroughs! Might sound weird, but watching the vods helped me through some bad times lately! Thanks for doing what you do!

Hello!! Wanted to post something after FF7Rebirth's first playthrough got uploaded. First of all, thank you for watching! I love FF7 and sharing the journey has been so much fun. If you're new, welcome to my channel! If you've been around, thanks so much for continuing to hang out with me as we discover these amazing games :D
I did almost everything in Rebirth. Some was off stream, some was on stream. But I'm planning to upload some little things like Gilgamesh's mini quest aaaand the queen's blood quest, and reactions to all the dates. Each in a separate video. I also have hard mode finished so that'll be going up soon too. It'll be 9 parts. I took out most the materia menus because i spent SO LONG on them and I wanted to up the pacing of the video. Also, my build doesn't matter. I'm not a tutorial and i do not do things optimally so it doesn't really matter but I will post my general plans for materia loadouts in each video's description.
The only things i have left are some legendary bouts which i haven't streamed, but maybe I will for the last one WE'LL SEE.
Alone in the Dark playthrough is going up currently. I'm going to stream some Rise of the Ronin on Twitch (maybe Youtube as well) but I'm not sure if i'll upload them as Youtube videos just yet. Depends how much I like the game. I streamed some Dragon's Dogma 2 and it's actually pretty great, but my mind isn't ready for something that big and open yet. I was overwhelmed lol. So i haven't finished it, but I will periodically go back to it to chill.
I gotta catch up on all these sick Resident Evil mods too!! Ahhhhhh. FF7 Rebirth took over a whole month of my LIFE lol. Anyway have a great day!
