Crazy how the largest military budget on the planet can’t subsidize our soldiers during a shutdown, yet the “elected officials” who just shut the government down can sit pretty and keep collecting paychecks with my money in it and let this shutdown drag on as long as they want… someone make that make sense cause i sure as hell cant

This is why we must always support our Troops. They serve our country and took an oath to defend our country from all enemies both foreign and domestic. They will get Back pay and this will be resolved soon. I also served 21 years in the Army and have experienced things like this. This country would not be free without our military members! The U.S. Army
The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EST on September 30, 2025.
Military personnel will continue in a normal duty status without pay until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law.
Civilian personnel not engaged in excepted activities will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status.
