I love watching your Channel Kent! My grandpa was an Okie and moved her to Mississippi later meeting my grandma on base when he was in the Navy! He was born in (1927) and went through the depression as a boy and as you say a man’s word, a handshake and love for family and country goes a long way! Grandpa spent most of his life in uniform for love and country but God came first! He was one of the greatest men I’ve ever known! I love food and God’s wonderful gift of giving rather than to receive. Watching your video’s reminds me of him. So thank you Kent! Wishing you all my best! - Jonathan W.

Whatever you stand for oftentimes tell an inkling to what a person values most in life! Dear Kent I think your character speaks VOLUMES to your integrity, love and respect to your fellow man. Not too many people speak of it as passionately as you do except for elections or certain holidays. I am grateful that you chose to share your views about such an inspiring subject. Thanks for sharing your time, words, recipes and knowledge about things some may take for granted. Thanks Kent from MS.

🎯 Kent, you hit the bullseye with everything you said. I strongly agree 100%. I never thought I would see the day where evil was so pervasive. I pray 🙏 daily for our country, especially the children that are dealing with teachings that are harmful to their well being. God bless us all. 🇺🇲 ✝

Our Father; living on this earth is all about treating each other the way we want to be treated. Jesus says in the second part of Matthew 7:12, ....for this IS the law and the prophets (capitalization my emphasis.) Kent, thanks for all you do!! Tom in Vermont

Thank you for sharing this, Kent. I really admire your faith in God and how unashamed you are of your faith. I'll be the first to admit that my faith in God isn't the best, but I am trying. You set a great example for my generation, and I hope us younger folks try to be more like you. We gotta stick together, simple as that.

Perfectly said Kent!!! We need to bring prayer back and God where he belongs! God bless you for saying what you said. I highly respect you for all that you do. And all the cowboys and cowgirls that have done their part for their ranches put food on our tables and that is very hard work. It's not easy work. Just like I think the servicemen and women for what they have done as well freedom is not free. It always comes at a cost. God bless.

Never a truer statement. I learned from a young age, if you want something, go and get it as it will not come to you. Integrity and grit is what this world has forgotten. Ambition is what the youth lack. My grandfather taught me hard labour as we worked together, i his labourer and he was the bricklayer. My goodness it was the toughest 4 years of my life. We ended up building 6 brick and block factories and it was soul destroying. Little did i know at the time, it actually built my soul, and i found God along the way. Grit and hard work taught by my grandfather set me up with one heck of “now go out there and work” moments. I now drive trains, and fly planes. But i will NEVER forget my roots. I hope to do the same with my own family as my grandfather taught me, because grit, integrity and ambition is a recipe for success and i have him to thank for teaching me that most valuable lesson. He is now 79 years old, and still working strong. Thank you Grand. In God we trust. Have a good day Kent

Thank you Mr. Kent. In the morning, I’m giving an old skillet to a young lady as a wedding present. I hope she uses it to make memories, biscuits and her family happy. We need more old things that work. Like skillets and post hole diggers.

Cowboy Kent Rollins
From A Cowboy's Point of View, Hope yall enjoy and please share with others.
I have learned a lot from the old timers I was around for many years, the men who sat tall in the saddle but also stood for the values that made our rural and ranch communities a part of society that stood the test of time. From the Dust Bowl to the Great Depression, these folks had what it took to weather the storm. They understood the true meaning of riding for the brand, standing up for what was right and true in the world. Men and women I wanted to be like.
I was asked not long ago what would I suggest we do to truly make our nation and our leaders wake up and saddle up, get back on the right trail and become the Nation our forefathers worked to build.
Now this isn't about politics or what party I stand for. I believe you can take a stand, but stand on the right side and that is the side of what this country was founded on. Our trust in God to provide, the power of prayer and our trust in our neighbor and the will to do right by others, as we would do right by them. Now remember this is just my point of view. I am reminded of a quote by President Ronald Reagan “If we ever forget we are one Nation Under God, then we will be a Nation gone under.”
I have always put more trust in Calloused Hands than Calloused Hearts. A handshake goes a long way in my neck of the woods, it is more binding than any contract I have ever seen. When you shook the hand of one of those Old Timers it was full of integrity and promise, and you could count on them to be there for you when things got tough.
. My dad taught me that perspiration and perseverance will make you a better person. I had many dates with a posthole digger and T-Post driver, two tools we used to build fences. Both of which I think our younger generation should get acquainted with, but also all those folks up there on Capitol Hill. Digging holes and stretching wire,is not just about building boundaries, it is about taking pride in what you have accomplished, something that will stand against the winds of time that blow against it. I learned you want get all you need out of life by wishing for it, but you can by working for it. Give it all you got everyday, every breath, and good things will come about.
My mother not only taught me to cook but how to live, she said “God brought you into this world, and gave you two things, your family and your word, take care not to tarnish either.”
And speaking of family and your word I remember this from
grade school in a American History class we studied the U.S.Constitution and in that great document was this line that always stood out to me “We the People” and If I’m not mistaken it still applies today these words should have meaning and we should all live by them for it is written,But I would like to add this one line to it, “We the People, and We Should all Be Family.”
So to round this all up, I reckon I would suggest we trust in God, we treat each other like family and we work hard, but also we work together.
