TBH, I don't have much content I can share with you guys from China (yet). I've spent the majority of my trip so far encouraging (badgering) various 3D printer companies to do what's best for all of YOU.
This includes: • Deeper support for OrcaSlicer, including printer management. We don't want proprietary slicers or forks! • More and better profiles AT LAUNCH - Not 6 months later! • Openly EMBRACING designers who are developing upgrades for their printers, from independent designers like @nadir3D to big companies like @bigtreetech • Adopt ONE, universal RFID standard for filament recognition! • Making printers "future proof" in a way that empowers users to experiment with more advanced materials safely and successfully • Moving beyond cheap, wasteful MMU systems and rushing to adopt new ideas like BondTech INDX.
In other words... I've got your backs!
Drop a comment below and let me know what else YOU want in 2026. I'll pass it along.
