@Room234

Fallen Edelgard deserves her own category just for what she's done to people's brains in AHR voting. Like the lifetime achievement award.

The Nidhoggrs, Brave Felix, Marni, Valentines Rhea, Baby Corrin, Baby Camilla, most of the Emblem units, Hegie (Fallen Edelgard) in her prime, Legendary RlMale Robin in his prime, most of the Chroms, Valentines Edelgard, Brave Veronica in her prime, Legendary Sakura, Attuned Hector, Surtr in his prime, Brave Lyn in her prime, Bridal Sharena, and Valentines Lyon. Those are the ones that have caused me nothing but grief and frustration across my Feh career. There's probably more that my mind has blocked, but those are the ones who come to mind.

Legendary Sakura hands down for me

Mythic Elm, the two Nidhoggrs, and, when she was new, Fallen Edelgard. All four of these units pose problems that, at least at the time of their debut, the majority of the playerbase found it difficult to impossible to surmount. With other units like Legendary Sigurd and Brave Felix (at the time of their release), they at least had counterplay--Sigurd's low Res made him vulnerable to mages and his lack of canto in his un-Remixed kit made him a sitting duck once he'd done his action; Felix lacking NFU in his base kit meant that he had to either run NFU as a seal or else face doubles--but these four didn't really HAVE counters to what they did/do when they released.

@Formulti

The Snakes and Duo Rhea. Incredibly annoying to face when they have Divine Nectar support. The rest who just disable strategy (Freyr, L!Sakura, etc. are honorable mentions.)

@Ancolyrica

Hm, I mean I think most of them were named already but still... - Brave Lyn (+ Reinhardt) - Brave Veronica - Surtr - Legendary Azura (until the Fairies the only outstandingly good Dancer that was just everywhere and +6 Stat-Bonus to all Stats for the danced Hero without the need of several Stat Bonus-C-Skills and one extra movement was absolutely huge back then) - Fallen Edelgard - Legendary Sigurd (I mean they invented a AR-O structure for him) - Freyr (just for the purpose that he just destroyed a whole unit for just existing and in general his cleansing especially for the time of his release was just a delete-button for anything debuff-related) - Valentine's Duo Lyon - Emblem Ike (potentially unkillable with most of the units during the first few weeks and months) - Heithrun (or Divine Nectar at least) - Brave Felix - Emblem Sigurd - Laeradr - Emblem Lyn / Lyn Ring - Legendary Sakura - Young Camilla - Celica Ring (she herself isn't that big of a deal compared to most of the other Emblem Heroes but the addition of her ring, especially before all the anti-warping skills were released was just absolutely toxic itself) - Save-Skills + Hardy Fighter/Shield Fighter OR the new Save-Skill-Combo-Options especially with modern Save tanks / Save Armors in general, especially the newer ones: - Mythic Nidhöggr - NY Nidhöggr - Attuned Hector - Valentine's Duo Rhea BUT I think MANY Save Armors since the release of Save-Skills and especially Hardy Fighter could be named over the years, cause personally I think the Save-Skills-Mechanic alongside very strong Armor Skills and also the tendency from time to time of Armors getting way more busted stuff (PRF weapons, skills) compared to other movement types (especially Cavs, sometimes Fliers) are the most toxic mechanic that was ever released without many counters/checks or the need to have/use the newest strongest Nukes or at least the skills on your highly invested older units.

@pongiethorn

for me, the snakes and emblem ike upon release. going up against them with no counters in any mode, and watching them just move and end turn on AR-O then win used to be so gross. Thank goodness for attuned miccy, rune, chrom and everyone else 😍

@SuperSnivMatt

The Nidhoggrs, Brave Felix with multi turns without attacking, and honestly way back when that I don’t see mentioned too much, Legendary Alm. This was the time where there was only Swift Sparrow and LaD as offensive player phase options really, but you’d never be as fast as him so if you can’t one shot it’s over. He just dealt so much damage and you couldn’t do anything about it with the tools we had then since “defensive” skills didn’t have DR or TDR, healing, lower foes stats etc. Your tanks just had to focus on defense as best they could to tank things in 2017-2020ish with less options to raise their base Def, but Alm made that actively harmful Also, you either were fast or needed QR. if you had less than 30 speed and higher even then that was the main way you could secure kills. Like I said that was a product of its time and lack of options via units or skills then

@ToluDude

The worst units are the ones that eliminate strategy fundementally imo. Legendary Sakura, Freyr, Elimine and Mythic Elm are perfect examples of units who do that. Units like Young Camilla, Fallen Edelgard, Duo Lyon, Prime Reinhardt and Brave Lyn while toxic are in a tier below that imo, because they are/were moreso heavy barracks checks. They can be stopped to a more reasonable extent than the former.

@Swordsmaster

Nighoggr (both NY and Regular), Brave Felix, and Fallen Edelgard (in her prime). There are probably more but those are the ones that come to mind.

@BioTroy

At the time of release Fallen Edelgard, no doubt. Most competitive players would downplay her but for casuals she completely killed the game and a lot of my friends quit FEH cause of her.

@DeikanYT

Emblem Sigurd 🤣, let me explain ahah: -Having to watch him destroy my units in the enemy phase if I wasn't careful of the positioning of my units 😆, and get away like a thief afterwards 🤫 -In AR offense particularly, the pressure he applies is oppressive, he's often my number 1 target. -I legitimately rage sometimes due to him 😆🤬, I cannot stand in general units that can act multiple times without dancer even! Like what is that, what is a dancer for then

@Froztec

Definitely Freyr as he made every debuff useless with his presence.

@carsonminter3020

I agree with the Nidhoggr and F!Edelgard comments. For similar reasons others have mentioned. The benchmark for me is really the question of counterplay. For that reason even the most egregious offensive threats have counterplay. Even brave Felix could be neutered with stall ploy and gravity and, when controlled by the ai, baited into overextending. Elm is really strong, but being a hyper offensive flyer with no DC means emblem Lyn or her engage ring user can check his offense in PvP. If a unit is an unstoppable force or an immovable object, they’re broken. If they’re both, they’re toxic.
