The amount of people who didn't know Marvel Comics made comic book issues of Thomas the Tank Engine... Wow. I found out about it years and years ago, as far back as the mid-2010's, stumbling upon an article about them on the Thomas wiki. My reaction was more like, "...Huh. Very interesting. Strange, but very interesting." And I didn't find out until recently that there's, like, a bajillion issues of the Marvel Comics Thomas series, not counting the other subseries they made. It's just mind-blowing how many there are. And some of the stories in these comics were some of Andrew Brenner's first contributions to the Thomas franchise.

Ah yes, my favorite Marvel superhero: Thomas the Tank Engine! I can’t wait to see him show up in Avengers: Doomsday next year.

I agree with Awdry it got stupid when they started writing they're own stories they lack the seriousness of his stories because he actually knew about locomotives.
