I have finally laid down the heavy guilt that I picked up somewhere along the way on my journey to pivot my YouTube channel. I had so many plans for my content last year and (admittedly) Q1 of this year. When the Lord instructed me to "go deeper" with my content and gave me a new strategy, I did not expect for Him to completely rebrand me. And I'm not just talking about a rebrand for my personal brand/business...
I'm talking about a transformative shift in my identity and the perspective that I had of myself. I said in one of my newsletter emails that whenever God wants to process you, the starting point is humbling yourself before Him and allowing Him to show you yourself. It's not going to be pretty, but it will trigger the transformation.
That's exactly what happened to me. And I'm still in my process, just on the brink of breakthrough.
As excruciating as it's been, this pruning & crushing season is one of the most beautiful and fruitful seasons that I have ever journeyed through.
It has brought forth a new sense of purpose and a deeper desire for destiny that I cherish so much. I'm reminded of how this beautifully mirrors a woman going through pregnancy and childbirth. Just as she carries a child within her, nurturing it with love and anticipation, so too do we carry the plans that the Lord impregnates us with.
The process of cultivating His dreams & desires for you... aligning your will with His to be perfectly fused together...the uncomfortable period of time required for them to grow and mature until it's time to give birth...
The labor pains are the struggles and challenges that we face as we bring His plans and desires for us to fruition.
This season for me has required a new level of faith, sacrifice, perseverance. I've had many moments of doubt and even fear... mirroring the physical intensity of everything I had to go through giving birth to my babies...
Yet, just as the arrival of a child brings immense joy and a profound sense of accomplishment, so too does the realization of knowing you're on the other side of breakthrough. It is a testament to the power of faith and the strength that we gain through hardship, ultimately leading to a place of fulfillment and the sweet reward of our efforts.
Your patience with my process has been my fuel. Thank you for your love, kind words, and consistent support for me and my content. You’re about to eat of the fruit that has been produced behind the scenes and the wait will be proven to have been worth it. 🩷
