The worst part of it all, the viewer cannot disable it, only the creator for his specific channel, so thank you very much!

For the Viewers: theres an extension for Firefox/Chrome called "YouTube No Translation". Works perfectly fine for me, all titles are in their original language. (be aware ofc, cant speak about safety of it, just my personal experience that has been good)

Dont worry Titles are automaticly translate becouse of YouTube. Everyone has the same problem.

I also think it's damaging the already slowed down development of kids. I and many others have learned English mostly through YouTube. Auto translation is another step to make new generations lazier and more reliant on technology.

For the viewers: in the settings on YouTube you can change language to English, but this will Auto translate some of the titles of your native language to English. Better then nothing

I experienced this on another video, video was in English. But I guess creator put it as Russian. Video was auto dubbed by some ai slop. Scrolled to comments and it was just the audio language auto changed to auto-dub. switching back to Russian was the creator speaking in English

And thank you for that! As for the auto translated titles - there is absolutely no way of disabling this shit. It will try translating to whatever language YT is set to and any switch to get rid of it simply doesn't exist

thanks a lot ^^ i really dont know why youtube doesnt let users disable this """feature""". i mean, i guess its useful for some people who dont speak another language but still watch people they like. But then again: why not let me choose? I e.g. speak two languagus (mothers tongue and English) and the system just doesnt care and always translates one into the other. Seriously, YOUTUBE LET ME DISABLE THIS. ATLEAST FOR CERTAIN LANGUAGES

I honestly thought YouTube did that randomly with videos, I never expected it to be a "feature" that creators can turn on and off. As a non native English speaker it's really weird seeing vide's translated to my own language, YouTube should just remove it entirely

it's weird because automatically translated video titles have been a thing for quite a while now, but the last two videos are the first on your channel to be affected by this. I wonder what changed all of a sudden

I'm french viewer, and yes your 2 last videos title are in stupid ai translate, and for the both the title dosn't make any sense.

King Nidhogg
It was annoying to find the setting because YouTube is probably pushing to have AI on all their shit but I was able to de-activate auto-dub. Some people are asking me to stop it from auto-translating titles but I have 0 clue how to find that option (couldn't find resources on it) and can't seem to manually stop that. Sorry for the inconveniences guys and I hear you on the feedback about this AI shit.
The only thing I'd want is automatic translated subtitles but even that shit tends to be bad. Let me know if the auto-dubbing continues to happen because it should be off now. For any creator that wants to know how to disable: Go to Creator Studio -> Settings -> Upload Defaults -> Advanced -> Scroll down to "Automatic Dubbing" -> Turn that garbage off.
