Properties are a more safe option for investments and guaranteed return in profit whereas Equities could get you manifold profit in shorted time but with the risk of a same kind of loss

As a 22 year old guy. 18% of my money is in bank deposits. And the rest of 82% money is in equities (I like both stock investing and day trading). Gold and real estate are kinda boring for me. I actually like the dynamic changes of the stock market that makes me excited. People who keep screaming about the risk. Listen carefully. Even living a life is a series of risks. So, don't be a dumb risk-taker. And also stop eliminating risks from your life. Fortune favors the brave.

Equities return are volatile in the first 3 to 4 years but when u cross that initial year it becomes very stable and beats any asset class in compounding ,If u aren't there in that position you won't know what it feels like.

Equity is easy to sell and gives you the exact price. Property on the other hand is difficult to sell and you don't even get the sum you think you would get. It's very easy to get a loan against equity.

We shouldn't judge anyone. Investment is purly tailored. It depends upon the person who take risk averse or risk seeker. I have my client who Invest only in real-estate and another client only invest in equity. Both are millioniers. They both have diversified portfolio. Proportion is depends upon the mindset

With current levels of valuations, I feel G-Sec is safer to park my money. I might be wrong about the valuations. And if I am wrong, I will miss out on gains. But if I am right, I will have enough money for the right moments while beating inflation(with no gains).
