As I head into the New Year soon here in the states, I just want to say how grateful I am for the extraordinary response to "Arcane Merchant."
It was my goal this year. I was gonna finish TATAM for this year or bust! And I did it! And it was a lot of freaking work, but I *DID IT.*.
Over 100,000 views in a week, especially for a nearly 3 hour fan film, is pretty dang good, and I've seen so many amazing things born from the film across the interwebs: fan art, remakes, edits, music recreations, MEMES. Good grief, some of these memes have made me bust a gut laughing! And it's wild how TATAM has seemingly changed everyone's perception of Toby and Thomas as a character pairing here on the interwebs - if you've been on Twitter, you know exactly what I mean.
Thank you, folks. Y'all have been such amazing peeps, some of you waiting as long as 10 years to see this thing, and it has been immensely gratifying seeing all your reactions and thoughts on the film finally. Thank you for sticking around to see this thing finally come to fruition!
Now, I understand it's not to everyone's taste - I fully admit that this is a wild, absurd, crazy sci-fi/fantasy Alternate Universe take on Thomas the Tank Engine, this world and these characters. I fully acknowledge all the crazy things I do - I mean, I’m using talking trains and they fight each other! They get into complex political spats and turn into sky beams and have split personalities and mental breakdowns and traumatic hallucinations! And yeah - I killed off *SPOILER.*. This shit's wild! And you are free to just completely dismiss and disregard and reject the film for these reasons. That's your right.
But I've also seen a huge amount of people who *understand* and *jive* and *resonate* with the story I'm trying to tell exactly as I'm trying to tell it. It's not perfect, but it's completely me, and I'm proud of it, and seeing people connect with it in all the ways I wanted and more has made this journey more than worth it for me.
Thank you, people. Just - thank you.

In the coming weeks and months, I'll be releasing extras and goodies pertaining to the film!
This includes Deleted/Extended/Alternate Scenes, Behind the Scenes photos and screengrabs, Concept Art, early drafts of the script, but most fun of all: I'm going to be releasing all the Trainz assets used in the production for "Arcane Merchant" as well as "Half-Pariah." This includes engines, rolling stock, routes, scenery objects, and face masks! All this will be released for Patrons first - first $15 Patrons, then $2 Patrons, and the publicly for free! Be on the lookout folks - everything will be released publicly for free in the coming weeks and months, so subscribe to this channel and follow me on Twitter and Bluesky to be notified of when all that happens!
As for the 3rd film: Yes, there's going to be a 3rd! I'll be making the official announcement either this weekend or the next. Also! Subtitles are still in the works for "Arcane Merchant," and once those are finished, I'll see about getting "Half-Pariah" subtitled as well!
