The Modern Rogue

I'm asking this for science, so you have to tell the truth. (Actually, this helps a lot for getting a sense of which audience is where)... --QUESTION: Did you know that I have another channel called ‪@scamschool‬ (Scam Nation)?

@gundyninor2450

I remember watching Scam School way back, years later stumbling onto MR and thinking ‘hang on, this looks like that bar bet guy I watched when I was little!’

Bro I've been watching you since early spiked hair days. You keep making them and I'll keep watching

I have stayed in your house, eaten dinner with your family, regularly call you on the phone, and this was news to me. 🙃 (Either that or some unsubscribe bug got me.... Because I swear I've seen this channel before

@Antlove4eva

I found you through your collaboration with TKoR (rip grant, we miss you) and explored modern rogue and watched your stuff for a while, after a bit I found scam nation and started watching that too, especially during covid.

Been following since Scam School was on Rev3 and GameOn and Diamond Club. I know you have all these things and have enjoyed your content for almost 20 years. I’ll make sure to go sub.

I've been a fan since hacking the system. Learning how to escape zip ties. To this day I still use the car keys fob again the head trick to extend the transmission radius. Finding out scam school existed and these great guys are still around still making cool things was awesome. Going from scam school to watching every MR episode as they came out is a truly treasured experience. You guys rock!

I watched all the episodes as they came out and learned so much, as well as books. I used it at many a bar to get many a free beverage. Scam School was fun for sure at the time. Keep up the good work!

Funnily enough, I learnt about scam nation because of modern rogue. I believe it was the fire eating series where I realised Brian has a whole magician history and so on...

@zdbarnett

I know about and watch Scam Nation, but I found Modern Rogue, first, and subscribed to Scam Nation after enjoying MR.

@smithmanish

I remember Brian’s spikey hair, when he used to bet someone out of a beer that he could eat fire, & pick that same persons pocket while they ordered it

@TheTwiceBakedBread

I started on scam school. I love you guys, the personalities, and all of the other people on the show for projects. I will be sad when Jason and Brian move on or retire.

I found out about Scam-School/Scam-Nation through The Modern Rogue, and I love both so much! I’ve introduced some of my fellow-roguish friends to the channels, and they are addicted now. If I may, might I suggest a video idea for M.R.? In the U.S., old black-powder guns (such as muskets and black-powder revolvers) are not legally considered firearms (to my awareness, anyway), and even kits to make them are available and can ship to one’s doorstep. Maybe a heavily-disclaimed video about how to make a musket or black-powder revolver, for survival-purposes? Another topic that would be pretty interesting would be one about how to make all-natural insect-deterrent from herbs, such as mint-plants. How to play the Chinese erhu (and seeing if it can shred), or a video on properly using chopsticks, would also rock hard. Stay cool and roguish, as always! 😎
