I've seen these, they're great. Absolutelly great. Outside of that tho, do you concider making the planets colse together? like not REALLY colse, but close enough to be visible in the sky. I made a post on the discord abt that, explaining my idea on optimizing it. I think it'd be really cool, and would give opportunities for sor some very nice lighting going on. So planets that are alone in the system would recieve less light at night, and so wouldplanets without moons. Binary planets would basically have an all time daytime on one side, with a small blindspot being the other planet's shadow. I don't doubt you've thought of that, and i'm just giving my ideas for that.

Are you going to make realtime physics matter in the game? I'm finding out that some engines especially godot don't have any good performance optinisations for collision detection. I heard of oc/quadtrees getting 100k+ of playable collision detections but no Godot physics engine uses them and I'm not able to find tutorial how to implementing it in godot. Sry I can't run other engines or comment on them.
