Hey, everyone. I hope you all are having a very pleasant start to your Monday.
It has been several days since my last update on the new house project. I can honestly say that by the grace of God Almight, Himself, our Lord and savior Jesus Christ, everything is going smoothly and on time according to the will of God.
Now that the house is fully empty, we currently have the power people out here building us a temporary pole to our home office, a separate building which we are currently staying in, so that we can have full power in it when and after demolition of our home takes place. All of the power pole thing is completed, and they are currently adding the finishing touches before nightfall of the time you are reading this. As I said, by the grace of God, everything is going smoothly. I am very, very grateful for how things are going. My sister and I were able to stay with one of our aunts for 2 and a half days last thursday, and it was a needed comfort for the time we were there. We came back home and rested even more and will continue to rest as this whole project continues to take place. The fun part, though, is searching for room designs for my sister and I's new bedroom and our own new bathroom! We'll actually have our own bathroom; something we've discussed happening every since I was a tween in the mid 90's and my sister was a toddler. To see it and more finally come to pass truly makes me praise God in such an immeasurable way. We've never lived in a NEW home before. Ever. And the Lord is providing in such a way that I can barely articulate it. The BEST part? This is government provided. We don't have to pay a thing. All we are paying for is the food and amenities we need while this is going on. I'll praise God forever and ever for this provision. My parents are getting up in age, my sister and I having lovingly become biblical representations of Ruth and Esther of the Bible, my late brother Markus, is enjoying himself in glory with Christ, and everything we've been praying for is/has come to pass. Please, keep this in mind...
I am not bragging on myself or my family. Those of you know that is not in my spirit. However, I am bragging on the Lord Jesus Christ and Him only. Don't give me any congratulations on all this. Give it to the Lord. Praise and thank Him for what He's done and doing, alright? All the glory goes to Him. With that said, I feel like I am living in an episode of one of my Sims series. LOL. You all know my favorite color is white. That will be the basis of my new bedroom, bathroom, and eventually my studio that I had built a couple of years ago. Below, I share some pictures I found on Pinterest to kind of give bits and pieces of what I am going for. Gamer themed, of course, but also a place where the Holy Spirit can dwell in as well. Endorphin-relaxation-induced places where I can provide for you all and increase the welcoming presence of Christ Jesus as much as I can and want. Just like the Sims.
